Qurani Rafiqui app for iPhone and iPad

This companion Quranic application is an innovative digital Quran application that operates on iPhones and iPADs and is dedicated to Muslims of various languages including English, French, Urdu and Arabic. It allows the user to learn the Quran, keeps track of the user’s daily reading progress (Al-Wird) and enables memorization of the Quran through reading or listening to the various reciters (Qari). Qurani Rafiqui is the first application of its kind that offers unique user interactivity by dynamically displaying relevant verses based on the user’s local time and location through automatic notifications with a semi-automatic playback option for those retrieved verses. Additionally, it provides access to the verses in textual format and provides interpretations / Tafseer and translations in several languages that can be easily shared with friends/family using various social-media tools. Another unique feature in this application is characterized by the voice search feature for the Holy Quran that supports user voice input to search any chapter or verse within the Quran, and retrieves the relevant verses using sound and textual messages to alert the user. Moreover, the application supports textual search of any verse or chapter within the Quran and uses the Ottoman writing style (Hafs) provided by the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Glorious Quran in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. Finally, the application provides thirty-six recitations of the most famous reciters in the Islamic world, with the eight most famous interpretations of the Holy Quran, and four translations of the meanings of the Quran in the most widely used worldwide languages.
